Farzin Naghibalsadati, MASc, PMP®
Farzin is a certified construction project manager and holder of PMP® designation from the Project Management Institute of America. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and two Master’s degrees—one in Structural Engineering and the other in Environmental Systems Engineering. With over 12+ years of experience in green construction, he specializes in transforming theoretical knowledge into practical solutions that drive sustainability within the industry. His research interests focus on innovative strategies for managing construction waste, repurposing materials, and integrating new technologies such as modular construction and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to reduce environmental impact and promote green construction for more sustainable future.

On May 15, 2024, one of Farzin’s sustainable projects was honored with the RCE Award by Russell Mirasty, SOM, MSM, the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, Canada. The project leverages Building Information Modeling technology to promote sustainable construction and enhance demolition waste management, contributing to five of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to create more green buildings and a greener world.
Contributing to Advancing Research Through Peer Review
Farzin NaghibiSadati has had the opportunity to serve as a journal reviewer for several Q1-ranked Elsevier journals, completing 37 peer reviews as of March 2025. His role in the peer-review process has enabled him to actively engage with cutting-edge research, contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge, and support the integrity of academic publishing.
